B. In the past year, the economic recession and government-backed bank bailout has shed new light on America's financial system. As a result, many Americans have lost their trust in the system. In order to regain the public's trust and increase financial liquidity, banks must find ways to save money and monitor their expenditures. Jared Joyce, Inc., founded by career inventor Jared Joyce, has invented a product concept that will help solve the banking crisis: a Dual Account Card (DAC) that will save billions of dollars annually that banks spend to market and issue credit cards to consumers.
There are 500 million credit cards issued in the U.S. each year, and the end-to-end cost of issuing one card is $80. The Dual Account Card can be issued for half the cost of two traditional cards, manufactured with half the material, and takes up half the space in the card holder's wallet.
