CompUSA to Sell 8x8 Phones
8x8 (NASDAQ:EGHT) has teamed up with CompUSA to offer the Packet8 Virtual Office small-business phone system and Packet8 Tango Video Terminal Adapter (VTA).
CompUSA customers will now be able to purchase the Packet8 Virtual Office hosted iPBX retail package, currently used by over 9,000 companies nationwide, for just $79.99 per extension after a $50 mail-in rebate, and the Packet8 Tango VTA for $99.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate.
Packet8 Virtual Office provides small and midsize businesses with a distributed, hosted iPBX telephony solution. With Virtual Office service, unlimited calling to the U.S., Canada and eight additional countries is available for a flat-rate of $49.99 a month. The Packet8 Tango VTA is a unique broadband phone adapter with built-in LCD screen that turns any regular phone into a full motion videophone.
