Active Voice Releases New Unified Messaging Solution
Voicemail, unified communications and speech-activated solutions provider Active Voice, a division of NEC, will release its new PC-based unified messaging appliance, Repartee version 10.0, in November.
Targeted at small and midsize business customers, Repartee 10.0 will allow users to access and manage voice, fax and e-mail messages with any communication device.
"Repartee 10.0 enables Outlook, iGoogle and iTunes users to retrieve their messages from the communication device they most commonly use," Eyal Inbar, general manager of marketing at Active Voice, said in a statement. "This software appliance solution is a significant step toward enabling users to integrate this platform as a Unified Communications component as they begin to migrate from Unified Messaging to Unified Communications."
