IBM (NYSE:IBM)  has launched a new set of tools to help its business partners identify opportunities for small businesses to save on IT investment by consolidating and virtualizing their infrastructure resources.

The upgraded Consolidation Discovery and Analysis Tool (CDAT) now includes the Server Consolidation Made Simple toolset, which allows IBM business partners to evaluate and consolidate IT environments with less than 50 servers by leveraging blueprints from thousands of successful server consolidations.
