Allworx Upgrades Small-Business Phone System
Small-business phone and network solutions provider Allworx, a PAETEC Holding (NASDAQ:PAET) company, has announced a new software release that will provide enhanced unified communications capabilities to small and midsize business customers. Allworx 6.8 for the 6x, 10x and 24x phone systems will also offer multilingual support for Spanish-speaking users.
Features include Follow-Me-Anywhere calling, which allows incoming calls to search for users by simultaneously ringing multiple external phone numbers; offsite access, enabling companies with remote employees to make outbound calls through the Allworx system; and SMS notification and escalation of voicemail so that multiple users can get SMS text messages from the Allworx system to their cell phone each time a voicemail is left.
