Microsoft Releases Accounting Software Upgrade
Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) has unveiled an enhanced version of its 2007 financial management software for small businesses. Office Accounting 2008, now available in both Spanish and English, features new tools and enhanced functionality.
Added features include a Resource Center that includes articles, online product trainings and a local CPA search tool; simplified company creation; a budgeting tool; universal transaction import; easy conversion from sales order to purchase order; enhanced bulk e-mail invoicing; and streamlined online banking.
Office Accounting 2008 is available starting at $199.95 for established small businesses; an "Express" version targeting start-ups and home offices is available for free.
