Ensim Launches Saas Development Kit

New tools for independent software vendors

 

Management software for unified communications infrastructure provider Ensim, a Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT)   Gold Certified partner, has introduced an initiative designed to provide tools and processes to help Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and providers more easily create and deliver new service offerings.

The Unify SaaS Software Development Kit (SDK) allows ISVs to create service managers that allow their applications to be delivered in a SaaS model. These ready-to-deploy software connectors integrate the applications with the resources and functionality of the Unify platform.

"Small and medium-size enterprises are geographically dispersed and loyal to local providers, making them a difficult target for ISVs to pursue on their own," Francois Depayras, vice president of marketing at Ensim, said in a statement. "Our Unify SaaS program allows them to create and offer their applications as services both directly as well as through a network of resellers. We help ISVs reach this market efficiently without incurring high costs."
