Tech Data to Distribute Fujitsu Storage Products

 

Tech Data (NASDAQ:TECD) has been named the first IT products distributor for Fujitsu Computer Systems' ETERNUS storage solutions. ETERNUS Storage Area Network (SAN), storage virtualization, and software products will now be available through Tech Data's reseller network across the U.S. and Canada.

Fujitsu's ETERNUS suite of products designed and priced for small and midsize businesses -- each featuring MAID (Massive Array of Idle Disks) for power efficiency -- includes ETERNUS2000 SAN, which boasts the same availability, redundancy and ease of management as advanced Fujitsu systems; ETERNUS4000, a mid-range solution delivering enterprise-class performance with encryption native to the disk drives, and ETERNUS8000, the largest capacity disk drive.

Features include high scalability, flexibility, simplified management, and replication and mirroring for data mobility. The line of ETERNUS storage solutions also includes the ETERNUS SF suite of storage management software.
