Mediatrix 4400 Series Compatible With Linksys VoIP System

 

VoIP access devices and gateways provider Mediatrix Telecom has successfully completed interoperability testing of its Mediatrix 4400 Series for integration with the complete VoIP portfolio of Linksys, a division of Cisco Systems (NASDAQ:CSCO). The combined solution provides small and midsize business with a true plug-and-play telephony system.

The Mediatrix 4400 Series of digital gateways is ideal for companies wishing to connect ISDN equipment, such as PBXs, through a BRI interface to an IP network or as a gateway to the PSTN. Available with one, two or four BRI ports, the gateways provide transparent ISDN port extensions over an IP network. The remote ISDN terminals can be managed centrally and benefit from PBX services such as calling groups and voicemail. A version including Power Over Ethernet and BRI phone power feeding is also available.
