TECSYS to Target SMBs With Acquisition
Supply chain management software developer TECSYS has completed the acquisition of Streamline Information Systems, a Canadian software supplier in the industrial distribution sector. As a result, Streamline will become a division of TECSYS and help the company better target small and midsize business customers.
An Arc Advisory Group report released in September 2007 shows that the market for ERP systems sold to small and midsize businesses is fragmented, and contains opportunities for most suppliers. It's expected to grow at a compounded annual rate of more than 11 percent, to reach $8.9 billion by 2011.
Streamline's software portfolio, Visual Streamline, including its Sales Order Management, Inventory Management and Financial applications, will now be available through TECSYS.
