Arrow to Deliver IBM ISS for Mid-Market Firms
Arrow Electronics' (NYSE:ARW) Enterprise Computing Solutions (ECS) division has partnered with IBM to distribute IBM Internet Security Systems (ISS) solutions in a deal that expands Arrow's portfolio of mid-market offerings. The company has also added in-house expertise to help resellers better target midsize healthcare companies.
IBM's suite of ISS products helps companies protect their networks, desktops and servers against Internet threats. Arrow ECS offers solutions through its partners that address the security, storage and computing needs of midsize companies. The company will now offer enablement and training services to help its resellers better service the healthcare industry.
Arrow ECS first announced plans to expand its mid-market offerings on Nov. 12. In-house research shows that security, storage and computing are the top three IT needs for the sector.
