3CX Upgrades VoIP Phone System
Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) Gold Partner 3CX released version 5 of its software-based VoIP PBX phone system for Windows. 3CX Phone System for Windows offers businesses employee mobility, reduced costs, and reduced administration and training time.
Built on the open SIP standard, 3CX Phone System interoperates with all popular SIP phones, VoIP gateways and providers. Features include call recording for monitoring purposes, phone provisioning, firewall-friendly VoIP client with included mini VPN, integrated fax server, bridges for branch offices and SIP trunking support.
Available in both Small Business and Enterprise editions, the 3CX Small Business edition supports up to eight users. A free edition supporting an unlimited number of extensions is also available but without the support package, fax or call queuing features.
