Dell Launches Partner Program
Dell (NASDAQ:DELL) has introduced a new global program that reinforces existing initiatives to help partners increase profitability and deliver greater value and choice to their customers. Participation in the PartnerDirect program is open now to channel partners in the U.S., with additional countries expected to be added in early 2008.
Program features developed for channel partners include logos and guidelines for certain marketing initiatives, dedicated sales and customer care, certification paths and training, credit options and deal registration serviced by SalesForce.com (NYSE:CRM) partner relationship management tool. In addition, the company has launched a dedicated partner online community featuring advice, news and blogs relevant to partners.
PartnerDirect offers two competitive partnership options. Registered Partner delivers basic benefits, including use of logos, access to Dell's partner Web site for online ordering, white papers, knowledge-base articles and marketing materials, as well as deal registration, enhanced post-sale support and financing options. Certified Partner is for those who wish to align with Dell on a strategic level, becoming involved in company priorities such as services, enterprise architecture, and small and medium business solutions.
