Technology solutions provider Softchoice has announced the acquisition of corporate computer software reseller Software Plus, a deal that stands to expand Softchoice's reach into the mid-market, enterprise, and public sectors. The transaction, a $45 million deal expected to be completed next year, will broaden Softchoice's customer base in both hardware and software sales across Canada and the United States.
"As we build on our success in the small and mid-market and begin moving upstream into the enterprise space in the U.S., we are delighted to welcome aboard a new team of sales employees with a well-earned reputation for delivering comprehensive software licensing solutions to some of North America's most distinguished corporations," David MacDonald, president and CEO of Softchoice, said in a statement.
