XO, Tech Data to Offer IP Services
XO Communications has teamed up with Tech Data (NASDAQ:TECD) to offer technology resellers and systems integrators advanced IP services and solutions for small and midsize businesses. The deal enables Tech Data to offer XO's converged IP voice and data services, which leverage Cisco's (NASDAQ:CSCO) networking technology. In turn, XO will have greater reach into the small and midsize reseller market.
Tech Data's resellers will now be able to offer XO SIP, a converged voice and data service for businesses with IP-PBX systems delivered over a single, high-speed connection. A bundled solution combining XO SIP service with Cisco Unified Communications solutions will also be available.
XO SIP features unlimited local and long-distance calling, dedicated Internet access speeds of up to 45 Mbps, optional voice compression, and online feature management through the XO Business Center.
