Workers Making Good Use of Breaks
Coffee breaks are a standard perk at most companies, but not all workers are merely sipping lattes, a new survey found.
Of 5,600 U.S. workers surveyed, 15 percent said they search for new jobs during their coffee breaks, according to CareerBuilder.com. About half of all workers take at least one coffee break during the day, and almost a third take two or more, the survey found.
Among the most unusual reported uses of coffee breaks were proposing marriage and vandalizing a co-worker's car, according to CareerBuilder.com.
