D-Link Unveils Products for SMBs

New tools include a green power-saving features that adjusts power usage.

 

D-Linkhas announced the launch of several new products aimed at small and midsize businesses, including Green Ethernet switching, next-generation dual band routers, and the latest storage and security devices.

The latest D-Link Green Ethernet technology has special power-saving features that detect link status and cable length and adjust power usage accordingly. New D-Link NAS devices and routers are embedded with the latest BitTorrent SDK firmware. The DNS-323 NAS storage unit and DIR-655 draft 802.11n router allow users to access, store and share large amounts of media content using a digital network and user-friendly Web interface.

D-Link's latest NAS storage solution is designed to meet the high demand for security surveillance by consumers and small and midsize businesses. The new device, which acts like a digital video recorder used in closed-circuit television systems, provides standalone recording management for up to four IP cameras per installation.
