The WRP400 includes an internal wireless access router to manage data transfers.
Linksys, a division of Cisco (NASDAQ:CSCO), has announced the latest addition to its suite of wireless routers for home and small business environments. The Wireless-G Broadband Router with 2 Phone Ports, or WRP400, combines Linksys' voice, video and data service technology with advanced QoS and secure wireless set-up features into a cost-effective all-in-one solution.
The WRP400 includes an internal wireless access router to manage data transfer that seamlessly links to both Wireless-G and Wireless-B connectivity units. It also features a 4-port full-duplex 10/100 Ethernet Switch to connect directly to PCs, integrated processor for clear, high-quality voice and video connections, and security and firewall capabilities.
"The Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router with 2 Phone Ports provides the market with a powerful unit that not only helps address market demands for a robust triple-play device but challenges the market with a cost-effective solution," Patrick Lelorieux, Linksys vice president EMEA, said in a statement.
