HP Launches Mid-market Servers
The new platforms are made for businesses with limited space, budgets and IT staff.
HP (NYSE:HPQ) has introduced new economical servers, application solution blueprints and enhanced remote management software designed and priced for midsize companies. The four new HP ProLiant server platforms are ideal for businesses with limited space, budgets and IT staff, and the company's new Midmarket Business Solutions help to quickly and easily create or upgrade critical business applications for entry-level ProLiant servers.
The new servers are priced starting at $1,399. Easy to deploy, the Midmarket Business Solutions for ProLiant entry-level servers offer enhanced continuity and efficiency. HP has also developed "ProLiant Partner Kits" that include sales enablement information, customizable campaign material and customer solution information. In addition, HP has enhanced features to its line of Lights-Out 100 Management processors, including virtual DVD-ROM support and virtual media USB 2.0 support.
"HP is aggressively focused on creating technologies that reduce complexity for midsize customers at every step," Paul Gottsegen, vice president of marketing, industry standard servers at HP, said in a statement.
