The deal will make it easier for small firms to purchase integrated Fujitsu solutions.
Fujitsu Computer Systems has announced that Tech Data (NASDAQ:TECD) will now offer small and midsize businesses access to Fujitsu's complete line of PRIMERGY servers via its broad network of resellers. The deal will make it easier for companies to purchase integrated Fujitsu computing solutions, including PRIMERGY servers, ETERNUS Storage Area Networks (SANs), storage virtualization and software products.
The PRIMERGY line comprises tower, rack, and blade servers, including single processor servers for small offices. ETERNUS storage solutions help businesses manage Microsoft Exchange Server migrations, consolidate massive e-mail volumes, ensure business continuity and efficient disaster recovery, and reduce power consumption.
"More and more customers are demanding the kind of fully integrated, high-performance, reliable, and eco-friendly solutions that only Fujitsu can provide," Richard McCormack, senior vice president of marketing for Fujitsu Computer Systems, said in a statement.
