Alltel, Corrigo to Offer Work Tracking System
The system will help small businesses monitor field technicians and boost productivity.
Alltel Wireless (NYSE:AT) has teamed up with on-demand service management software provider Corrigo to deliver an application that helps small and midsize business owners monitor field technicians and increase productivity. Corrigo's WorkTrack Service Management system enables service-based businesses to wirelessly dispatch work orders to employees in the field, and remotely manage the orders using select mobile devices on the Alltel network.
WorkTrack Service Management monitors field technician time and provides efficient status reports with real-time reporting, resulting in reduced payroll and administrative costs. Equipped with GPS technology, it allows jobs to be dispatched to the most skilled technicians and monitors when they arrive onsite. Employees can use it to remotely clock their time and capture customers' signatures for quick invoicing on capable devices. "Our relationship with Corrigo will help small to midsize business customers efficiently conduct their business in a manner competitive to larger companies," David Maddox, director of advanced data solutions for Alltel Wireless, said in a statement.
