Convergys, Ceon to Deliver Enterprise Product Management

Ceon PCC enables communication services providers to manage a layered product catalog.

 

Relationship management company Convergys has partnered with Ceon, a provider of product lifecycle management software for dynamic and bundled communications product offerings, to offer service providers of all sizes a comprehensive Enterprise Product Management solution.

Through the deal, Convergys' Infinys Business Support System (BSS) has been enhanced with Ceon's Product Control Center (PCC) application's additional product management capabilities. Ceon PCC enables communication services providers to construct, manage, and deploy a layered product catalog that includes the full technical and commercial definition of products. Infinys now features product lifecycle consulting, improved order capture, reduced new product introduction time, and enhanced product portfolio management.

"With Convergys, Ceon will be able to provide more than just market-leading enterprise product management technology. The two companies together bring a comprehensive set of BSS products as well as deep expertise and experience in professional services, systems integration, and consulting," Ceon CEO, Peter Burke, said in a statement.
