Jenne to Distribute Avaya Applications

IP telephony solutions include Avaya MultiVantage Express for businesses with up to 500 extensions.

 

North American distributor of networking and IP telephony products, Jenne, has signed a distribution deal with Avaya (NYSE:AV)  to offer midsize business solutions to its network of value-added resellers and dealers. The mid-market solutions will be based on the Avaya Communications Manager IP telephony software platform. Jenne will provide training and service support to its resellers.

The solutions to be offered include the Avaya MultiVantage Express, an application-rich solution for midsize businesses with up to 500 extensions. It runs on an Avaya S8500 Media Server. Jenne will also provide S8300 and S8400 Media Servers with the Communication Manager software. Jenne already offers user-friendly converged voice and data communications system Avaya IP Office to its small and midsize business customers, and the Partner Advanced Communications telephony system to small businesses.

"Jenne Distributors has provided Avaya customers with outstanding support for our SMB solutions, and we are confident that the company's track record of success will continue with Avaya Communications Manager-based solutions for the mid-market," Kevin Cook, vice president of North America Channel Sales at Avaya, said in a statement.
