The out-of-the-box application records meetings and conferences of any size.
Royal Philips Electronics (NYSE:PHG) has unveiled the new Digital Conference Recording System 955, an out-of-the-box solution for recording meetings and conferences of any size with high-quality sound.
The system contains new Philips Boundary Conference Microphones and a remote control for small conference settings. Additional microphones can be added for larger settings, such as press conferences or company meetings. It also includes a special edition of the Philips Digital Pocket Memo, a handheld portable recorder equipped with two-channel audio encoding.
Packaged in a metal carrying case for portability and quick set-up, the system comes equipped with professional dictation software. Philips SpeechExec Pro Dictate enables file routing, editing and archiving of all recordings. For faster file transfer and reduced network traffic, the Conference Recording System 955 converts files to compact DSS/DSS2 file-encoding format. Users can also choose the MP3 format for easy distribution and playback on a computer or MP3 player.
