NEC Introduces New Widescreen Desktop Displays
New additions to AccuSync target small and midsize businesses.
NEC Display Solutions of America, a wholly owned subsidiary of NEC (NASDAQ:NIPNY), has unveiled three new additions to its AccuSync line targeting small and midsize businesses, direct marketers, home office workers, system builders and retail channels. The new 19-inch ASLCD194WXM and 22-inch ASLCD224WXM widescreen desktop displays replace previous generation wide products, while the 17-inch ASLCD174WXM is completely new to the line.
The new displays, all sporting black cabinets, will be available in March starting at $209.99. They feature high resolution; ECO Mode, an onscreen feature that allows users to reduce brightness and lower power consumption by 30 percent; Ambix dual-input technology; rapid-response technology, which delivers virtually uninterrupted, undistorted viewing of high-speed, full-motion video; and built-in multimedia speakers.
"The new AccuSync widescreen products continue to deliver the quality of the NEC brand while remaining price competitive," Andrew Anderson, product manager for NEC Display Solutions, said in a statement.
