Xerox Launches New Small Business Printer

The Phaser 6125 prints up to 12 pages per minute in color.

Xerox (NYSE:XRX) has introduced its new Phaser 6125 color laser printer, designed and priced for small and midsize businesses. Starting at $349, it’s the company's lowest price product of this kind yet.

The Phaser 6125 prints up to 12 pages per minute in color and 16 pages per minute in black and white using Xerox's energy-efficient Emulsion Aggregation High Gloss Toner. It comes equipped with toner cartridges, as well as a 333MHz processor, networking capabilities, and up to 1GB of available. The new printer also uses Xerox's CentreWare IS software to alert users to printer problems via pop-up messages.

"Xerox continues to shatter the perception that high-quality color printing is a luxury only large businesses can afford," Russell Peacock, president of Xerox Office Group, said in a statement. "The Phaser 6125 is designed for customers looking for a color printer that can handle everything from sales proposals to promotional hand outs efficiently and cost effectively."
