Quanta Introduces New IP Phone System

The all-in-one Syspine Digital Operator Phone System is designed for small businesses.

Quanta Computer has announced the availability of a new, all-in-one IP phone system designed for small businesses. The Syspine Digital Operator Phone System is an advanced IP PBX system, featuring Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) Response Point software.

Syspine's voice-recognition system can be linked to a company's internal phone directory or Microsoft Office Outlook address book. Supporting up to 50 users, the system allows for easy addition or removal of individual users. The software also enables users to manage preferences for voicemail and call handling, as well as use Office Outlook directories to create custom call distribution lists. It can be configured to bypass receptionists, or ring all phones in a given department at once, such as in a customer service department.

The hardware, the Syspine Digital Operator A50, connects up to eight standard telephone lines. It features a high-end, server-grade, fan-less design and can be installed with little technical expertise.
