Verizon Enhances Business SharePlan
Small businesses can now add phone lines in different parts of the country in a single account.
Verizon Wireless (NYSE:VZ) has announced new features available on the Business SharePlan for small and midsize business customers. Companies can now add or combine new phone lines in different parts of the country onto a single account and share allowance minutes nationally.
Verizon also offers customers the option to activate their phone with any area code and telephone number available throughout the country. These account management features allow companies to distribute minutes among employees nationwide, while keeping all staff on the same plan and receiving a single bill.
"Working away from the home office has become a way of life for small- and medium-sized business' work forces," Jack Plating, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Verizon Wireless, said in a statement. "We strive to make it easy for these valuable customers to do business with us and to manage their wireless needs in more places, particularly as they expand Business SharePlans to accommodate their remote workforces around the country," Plating said.
