The new solutions provide a more efficient storage infrastructure, reduced cost, integrated data security, and enhanced archival solutions to meet compliance requirements.

The new solutions include disk systems maximized for small and midsize telecommunications businesses. The new IBM System Storage DS3300 DC power model 32T is designed with no single point of failure for high availability and hot swappable redundant components. It allows service providers to deliver basic voice telephony, IP television, video on demand, IP multimedia subsystems, and security.

IBM has also unveiled half-height versions of its latest generation Linear Tape-Open tape drives for the System Storage TS3100 and TS3200 Tape Library Express Models, targeting businesses with limited budgets and space.
