Absolute, Assurant Offer Extended Service

Computrace LoJack is a computer theft recovery service designed for small businesses.

 

Computer theft recovery, data protection and secure asset tracking company, Absolute Software, has teamed up with Assurant Solutions, an extended service contracts provider and division of assurant (NYSE:AIZ), to offer Absolute's Computrace LoJack for Laptops with Assurant Solutions' extended service program as a bundled solution.

Computrace LoJack for Laptops is a computer theft recovery service designed and priced for home or small business customers. If stolen, software installed on the computer silently and securely contacts the Absolute Monitoring Center to report its location. Absolute then works with local law enforcement to recover the computer.

"Together with Assurant Solutions, we are making it easy for consumers to obtain computer theft protection through the purchase of a third-party extended warranty program available in hundreds of retail stores across North America."
