NetApp to Target Mid-Market
The company has extended its channel distribution agreement with Arrow Electronics and Avnet.
NetApp (NASDAQ:NTAP) has extended an existing channel distribution agreement with the Enterprise Computing Solutions (ECS) unit of Arrow Electronics (NYSE:ARW) and Avnet (NYSE:AVT) to resell its StoreVault storage solutions to mid-market customers in North America.
The StoreVault family of products enables solution providers to offer firms with small, remote or branch offices cost-effective systems to solve backup, restore, consolidation, and disaster recovery problems. StoreVault solutions are flexible and scalable in both SAN and NAS environments.
"Growing our relationship with Arrow ECS and Avnet is the next logical step in our channel distribution strategy," Sajai Krishnan, general manager of the StoreVault division, said in a statement. "As the mid-market demand for StoreVault products continues to increase, Arrow ECS and Avnet bring the expertise to support our growing number of channel partners."
