SAP Launches Fast-Start Program for Mid-Market

The new program provides pre-configured industry-specific processes.

 

SAP AG (NYSE:SAP) has introduced a new fast-start program for its Business-All-in-One solutions targeting midsize companies in the manufacturing, services and trade industries. The new program provides pre-configured industry-specific processes designed to streamline core business operations.

Expected to be rolled out later this year, the fast-start program is ideal for midsize companies that require an integrated, customizable on-premise business solution with deep industry capabilities. It includes a user-friendly online solution configurator and immediately calculates a cost estimate for software licenses, service and implementation, as well as required hardware.

"With this pre-tested, automated installer, we were able to considerably reduce the installation time for the pre-configured industry solution, including database, operating system and the SAP ERP application," Dr. Frank Peinemann at SAP Channel Partner BTC AG in Bremen, Germany, said in a statement. "Time-consuming customization was omitted and the system was up and running within a short period of time."
