SAP Upgrades Supply Chain Management Software
The new software is designed to simplify collaboration with business partners and customers.
SAP AG (NYSE:SAP) has announced the upcoming release of the latest version of its supply chain management solution. The new software is designed to increase visibility of essential information and simplify collaboration with a global network of business partners and customers.
The enhanced solution provides improved supply network inventory and work order collaboration; the ability for suppliers to create Web-based invoices; maximized workforce planning to increase productivity; and advanced network and production planning to optimize capacity utilization and ensure timely delivery.
"SAP is the trusted partner for companies facing emerging challenges such as the broader geographic dispersion of partners, which stretches the supply chain and increases fulfillment risks," Lori Mitchell Keller, senior vice president of suite solution management at SAP AG, said in a statement.
