AT&T Launches Business In a Box

AT&T (NYSE:T) has unveiled a new service that uses IP communications to simplify IT operations for small and midsize businesses. AT&T Business in a Box enables migration from traditional analog to VoIP solutions, integrating voice and data services. The service comes with a device equipped with the necessary data ports and connectors.

Business in a Box features AT&T Voice DNA, Internet access routing with built-in firewall protection, virtual private network (VPN) capabilities, Wi-Fi, and local area network connectivity with Power Over Ethernet connections.

"AT&T Business in a Box enables small sites to enhance their customer service and their core business operations with minimal technical knowledge or effort," Ann Rotatori, vice president of business marketing for AT&T, said in a statement. "The converged solution is applicable to a variety of industries and can help businesses grow immediately. We're bringing the power of big-business technology down market for ease of use and quick startup," she said.
