SBA Partners with Minority Business Group

The two groups hope to expand the nation's five million minority-owned small businesses.

In a move to broaden its outreach, the Small Business Administration has renewed its partnership with the Minority Business RoundTable, officials announced this week.

Under a two-year deal effective this month, the groups will share resources with a broader goal of raising awareness among minority entrepreneurs about SBA lending and support services.

SBA Administrator Steve Preston and Minority Business RoundTable CEO Roger A. Campos said they hoped the move would help strengthen and expand the nation's five million minority-owned small businesses.
