Site Updates Small-Business Services

Business.gov has unveiled new search features to offer better access to government data.

Business.gov this week unveiled new state and local government search powered by Google and designed to provide small businesses with better access to government data, government officials said.

The site, which is co-managed by the Small Business Administration and other federal agencies, seeks to improve its general search capabilities by generating results more specific to businesses in a particular area, rather than broader search results. As such, business owners will be able to search for federal information on programs, services and regulations via federal government search capabilities from Google.
