A survey finds many employees are likely to call in "sick" after Sunday's game.

An estimated 1.5 million Americans will likely call in "sick" after the Super Bowl, according to a new survey.

In a poll of more than 1,400 workers nationwide by workforce management firm Kronos Inc., three percent admitted to calling in sick the day after the game in the past, while another three percent said they expect to come in late.

The survey found that Super Bowl-related absences would likely have a greater impact on businesses with younger employees. Most of the game's viewers are males aged 18 to 34.

According to Kronos, unscheduled absences cost U.S. employers billions of dollars every year in lost productivity and can lead to lower job satisfaction.
