SAP and Intel Target Mid-Market
The partnership will offer applications for manufacturing, service and trade companies.
SAP AG (NYSE:SAP) (NYSE:SAP) and Intel (NASDAQ:INTC) have announced plans to offer midsize companies in the manufacturing, service and trade industries a solution for scalable, easy-to-deploy end-to-end business processes.
The new offering for SAP Business All-in-One business software combines software, hardware and the SAP MaxDB database into a single package.
"The powerful combination of advanced hardware innovation, quad core Intel Xeon processors and SAP Business All-in-One will bring substantial business benefits and lower cost for mid-market customers," Pat Gelsinger, senior vice president and general manager of digital enterprise group at Intel, said in a statement.
