Canon Launches Multifunction Laser Copiers
The new line offers smaller offices copy, print, fax and scan functionality in one machine.
Canon U.S.A. (NYSE:CAJ) has expanded its imageCLASS MF6500 Series with the addition of four new black-and-white multifunction laser copiers. The new imageCLASS MF6540, MF6590, MF6595 and MF6595cx devices allow smaller offices to have copy, print, fax and scan functionality all in one machine.
The new copiers offer laser printing at speeds of up to 24 pages per minute, output at 24 copies per minute, and print resolutions of up to 1200 x 600 dpi. They also include a 33.6 Kbps Super G3 fax with such features as 23 one-touch speed dial numbers, 100 coded speed dial numbers and a 1,000-page memory capacity.
"Real estate is limited in small and home office environments that require the same basic office equipment functionality as larger operations," Jim Rosetta, vice president and general manager of imaging systems group at Canon U.S.A, said in a statement.
