Ricoh to Deliver eCopy Imaging
eCopy software converts paper-based information into electronic images.
Ricoh Americas has announced plans to offer eCopy's new suite of document imaging applications. When embedded in a Ricoh multifunction product (MFP), eCopy's solutions convert paper-based information into electronic images that can be incorporated directly into the workflow of critical business processes. An intuitive interface facilitates the sharing of electronic documents via e-mail, fax, content management and collaborative systems.
eCopy Desktop is PC software that enables office workers to use desktop MFPs and scanners to scan documents and create PDF files. eCopy ShareScan Essentials, a scalable solution designed for small and midsize businesses, allows for the secure capture and sharing of documents via a Ricoh MFP. PDF documents created can be sent to internal and external parties by e-mail or fax or forwarded directly to network folders for storage. eCopy ShareScan Suite is tailored to larger companies.
"With eCopy as a long-time member of Ricoh's Technology Alliance and Developer Programs, we know first-hand the quality of eCopy's document management solutions, and we are happy to provide these new software solutions to our customers," Hede Nonaka, executive vice president of document solutions and services at Ricoh Americas, said in a statement.
