Cbeyond, Tech Data to Deliver Unified Communications

The move pairs Cbeyond's BeyondVoice with Cisco's Smart Business Communications System.

 

Cbeyond (NASDAQ:CBEY) has plans to join forces with Tech Data (NASDAQ:TECD) to market a unified communications solution featuring Cbeyond's BeyondVoice with SIPconnect service and Cisco's (NASDAQ:CSCO) Smart Business Communications System (SBCS) via Tech Data's extensive network of channel partners.

Under the terms of the agreement, Tech Data will build awareness among its resellers about the benefits of this turnkey solution, offering training and product configuration tools through its TDEducation technical training and certification services team.

Cbeyond's BeyondVoice with SIPconnect service is an integrated package of local and long-distance voice, high-speed Internet and mobile services. Cisco's SBCS is an all-in-one communications solution for small businesses.

"Educating our customers on the latest technologies and enabling them to pursue new revenue opportunities is a key focus for Tech Data," Chuck Bartlett, Tech Data vice president of networking product marketing, said in a statement.
