StorMagic to Distribute VMware iCSCI SAN Solutions

The program seeks to help telecom agents market its services to small businesses.

 

Storage management software developer, StorMagic, has joined VMware's (NYSE:VMW) Technology Alliance Partner (TAP) Program as a select partner. The company will now have access to VMware resources and expertise as it markets iSCSI Storage Area Network (SAN) solutions optimized for VMware environments. Select level TAP members also receive support for technology integration, marketing tools and benefits.

StorMagic SM Series is an iSCSI-based SAN solution designed to help small and midsize businesses store, share, manage and protect data through a single, user-friendly interface. It offers non-disruptive data migration, consolidation, and management without the cost and complexity of typical SAN solutions. Data protection is performed locally using RAID and snapshot technologies for backup, data retention, and compliance purposes.

"By joining TAP, we are looking to bring the ease of use of our iSCSI SAN solution to VMware environments in small to medium organizations," Mike Stolz, vice president of sales and marketing at StorMagic, said in a statement.
