Avnet to Distribute Double-Take Recovery Software

The company will resell its recoverability tool over Avnet's network of resellers.

Avnet Technology Solutions, a division of Avnet (NYSE:AVT), has signed a distribution agreement with Double-Take Software (NASDAQ:DBTK) to resell its recoverability software via Avnet’s network of value-added resellers.

Double-Take Software solutions provide protection and recovery of business critical data and applications, such as Microsoft Exchange, SQL and SharePoint, in physical and virtual environments. Double-Take supports Microsoft and Linux-based systems.

"Every second counts when a company’s systems go down," Jerry Gregory, vice president of strategic alliances at Double-Take Software, said in a statement.
