Covad to Launch Business DSL

Covad Business DSL will support hosted apps, servers and other business functions.

 

Covad Communications Group (AMEX:DVW) has unveiled a new business-class product to add to its broadband access portfolio. Business DSL provides small and midsize businesses with a secure, reliable Internet connection, backed by support and aggressive service-level agreements.

Covad Business DSL, which is offered on a data-only dedicated line, supports hosted applications, servers and other mission-critical business functions. In addition to this product, with download speeds of up to 15 megabytes per second, Covad offers standard T1, a bonded T1 service, and fixed wireless broadband at speeds of up to 45 megabytes per second.

"We are excited to introduce industry-leading SLA guarantees on a business-class DSL service," Patrick Bennett, general manager of Covad Branded Services, said in a statement. "We have listened to our channel partners, who told us that business customers are demanding reliable, affordable broadband connection."
