NEC Unveils SMB Tools
The new applications offer enterprise-class communications and VoIP features.
NEC Unified Solutions, an NEC (NASDAQ:NIPNY) company, has introduced a new set of solutions for small and midsize businesses built on its UNIVERGE360 role-based approach to business communications. The new solutions provide enterprise-class unified communications and VoIP features.
The new solutions combine the UNIVERGE SV8100 and SV8300 communications servers, the UC for Business single-server unified communications application and new IP and digital terminals. Features include call display, conferencing, soft keys, voicemail, unified messaging, speed dialing and automatic call distribution.
"NEC's complete SMB portfolio extends our long-standing leadership in this market by providing our customers with advanced yet intuitive functionality normally found at the enterprise level," Jeff Kane, president of NEC Unified Solutions, said in a statement.
