Ricoh Launches Imaging Systems

The company has unveiled two new digital imaging systems for small businesses.

 

Ricoh Americas has unveiled two new digital imaging systems designed and priced for small and midsize businesses. The Aficio MP 2550B/MP 2550 and MP 3350B/MP 3350 offer color scanning for clear images, and secure document storage.

The MP 2550/MP 3350 models come standard with monochrome printing, copying and scanning capabilities. The MP 2550B and MP 3350B come with copying and feature a flexible upgrade path, which includes monochrome printing, scanning and faxing, and allows additional document management features to be added.

The new systems also enable administrators to restrict access to users who are authorized with Windows/LDAP/Kerberos Authentication. The Locked Print feature protects confidential documents from being seen or accidentally picked up from the output tray by unauthorized parties. In addition, the DataOverwriteSecurity System prevents the reconstruction of data from latent images on the internal hard drive.
