N-able Technologies and Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) have announced a joint technology and marketing agreement that will facilitate the integration of N-central managed services platform with Microsoft's System Center Essentials 2007. Microsoft partners will now be able to deliver a set of proactive IT systems management software products tailored for midsize businesses on-demand.

The two companies will work together to integrate N-central 6.5 and System Center Essentials 2007, as well as to provide N-able resellers with technical and sales education resources to be able to better market the joint solution.

"As the move to managed services continues to gain traction worldwide and IT services automation becomes a must-have for channel partners, having the ability to scale your remote management capabilities across a wide variety of technologies and devices will be a core differentiator for our partners," Gavin Garbutt, president and CEO of N-able Technologies, said in a statement.
