Looking for a mid-life career change? Detroit-based Operation ABLE hosts its 22nd annual job expo for older workers next week at the Plaza Hotel and Conference Center in Southfield, Mich.
The Ability is Ageless Job & Career Fair will feature over 35 recruiters and educational institutions, looking to fill job positions in accounting, customer service, engineering, marketing and other fields.

SCORE, a Washington-based small-business resource group, is launching a new section on its Web site for manufacturers.
The site seeks to help small-business professionals involved with transportation equipment, computers, electronics, chemicals and machinery, and will feature links trade groups that can provide additional guidance for manufacturers. It will also offer statistics and analysis on the industry, along with free online counseling.
