CyberSource, mPoria to Offer M-Commerce

The strategic channel partnership offers m-commerce technology to online merchants.

 

CyberSource (NASDAQ:CYBS) and mPoria have formed a strategic channel partnership in which CyberSource will offer mPoria's GoMobile! m-commerce technology to its network of online merchants.

GoMobile! enables retailers to build and launch a mobile shopping site with little technical expertise. Once live on the GoMobile! platform, a merchant can offer consumers the ability to shop online using their cell phone. mPoria's service supports most smartphones offered by major U.S. carriers.

"Significant advances have been made in the wireless industry and we believe the time is right for merchants to expand to m-commerce," Michael Walsh, CyberSource senior vice president of worldwide sales, said in a statement.
