Trend Micro (NASDAQ:TMIC) has announced it will integrate its Web security services into the Cisco's (NASDAQ:CSCO) Integrated Services Router (ISR) platform. The Cisco IOS Content Filtering solution delivers real-time, in-the-cloud, global Web filtering data feeds onto Cisco ISRs. The joint solution will provide small businesses with protection from Web-based threats and enforce acceptable use policies for Web traffic.

Cisco IOS Content Filtering monitors and regulates all Web activities by blocking or restricting access to certain Web sites. Trend Micro's global network of research, service and support centers will add constant threat surveillance and attack prevention to the solution.

"Trend Micro and Cisco have worked together for the past four years to deliver comprehensive and flexible network security solutions to more effectively protect businesses from complex, unpredictable and ever-increasing Web threats," Punit Minocha, vice president of business development for Trend Micro, said in a statement.
